Red Hot!

Take what is already a pretty sweet car (GT Mustang Coupe), give it a 500 HP engine and some wicked styling c/o The One And Only Carrol Shelby, call it a Cobra and add badging to that effect, and you'll have a pretty freaking sweet ride.

Add RED STRIPES to that... holy momma, you're looking at one smoking set of wheels. If only I had 60 grand to blow on a musclecar.....

Hannimobile

I've been trying to convince the folks around me for years that Hanni needs to get an early 80s 'vette. It's hard to explain what it is about these cars that's so interesting and classic despite being somewhat 'sleazy'.

Today the Jalopnik Fantasy Garage segment tackled this very problem and won.
In case anyone needs to be further convincing than simple hearing it from me that these are great cars, take a read through the article and try to picture the Han-man in one of these beauties all done up in gloss black. Maybe with a T-top!!!

Getting Advice From The Internet

I'm a news whore. I know it. I revel in it.

As a consequence, I get a lot of advice from a lot of different sources on a lot of different things. Casually listening to conversations at Morgan's parents place and at work and even the grocery store, I have often heard people talking about some topic on which I've obtained some advice via the internet, and would like to offer.

Mostly I don't though. Mostly because I can never remember WHERE I got this information in the first place. Browser history is there but who wants to search through all that crap? (I wonder if Spotlight and/or Google Desktop search through browser history? Unless the browser put every history item in its own file I don't think Spotlight could do that... I digress)

So here's some things I found, and then re-found for this article. I hope they provide some insight. Please 'put them on the shelf' - they're from the internet and NOT the last word on their respective subjects.
