iTunes Essentials to Check Out
Poking around on the iTMS this morning I noticed some pretty sweet stuff that needs to be mentioned.
- Lesley Feist has done a remixes record which is pretty cool.
- There's an iTunes Essentials called Broken Social Scene and Friends which looks pretty rad too.
- There's also and iTunes Essentials called Continental Cafe which features some pretty sweet music, from Beck to Massive Attack to Sterelab to Esthero to The Cardigans to Mr. Scruff to Brazillian Girls, Air, Beth Orton.... and on and on and on it's killer
- Sam Roberts' new CD Chemical City is up, and it's awesome
- Andrew Sharpe turned me onto this guy name Josh Ritter whose record is up there too, and it's definitely worth the time to check out.
- Danko's new record is on the way, and signalling things to come, a new EP is up on the store for all to enjoy.
- Speaking of things to come, you can pre-order Pearl Jam's new record with some iTMS goodies to boot (video, digital booklet)
- The Streets are an interesting group, and have a new record up for review as well. It's kind of weird, but you'll probably like it.
- The new Yeah Yeah Yeahs record is up there too - and it's GREAT. I haven't been able to give it enough time yet, but Morgan LOVES it and that's good enough for me.
