Filesharing, Jeff Tweedy style

Go watch this video.

Most insightful thing I've heard about sharing/stealing music online yet.

"Music doesn't really exist until someone listens to it" - Jeff Tweedy

Comments:
JD, The DC(ME) will be in your area(NB, Sackville more accuratly) this weekend. Could we share some space and time?

I *heart* that video. You go! It just makes so much sense. Unlike...me...

I don't know if I think the loaf of bread thing is what I liked as much as the "patron of the arts VS consumer" thing...well, I just enjoy his opinion, it's very fresh.

That was a very good video. I must admit, as morgan does, that hearing Jeff Tweedy speak about this issue is like taking in a breath of fresh air. I certainly, once again like Morgan, like the idea of the 'patron of the arts'. The idea that our tasks as fans is more than just the consumption of music, but also to allow our favorite musicians to continue making music is certainly admirable. Of course, to allow this to happen, at some point some money has to leave our pockets and enter theirs.

Besides, I can't disagree with Jeff Tweedy because he suffers from really bad migranes like me!
